Ingredients for 4 people:
  • 4 slices of pork
  • 50 g. of fresh porcini mushrooms
  • half a glass of white wine
  • a clove of garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation:

Before starting to prepare the recipe, it is important to choose high quality slices of meat, preferably thinly sliced for uniform and quick cooking. You can also opt for different types of meat, such as veal, chicken or turkey.

When you have chosen the meat, start preparing the ingredients for the sauce. For mushrooms, you can use fresh ones or alternatively frozen ones. Finely chop the garlic and the mushrooms into small pieces, to have a more delicate and uniform flavour.

Once you have floured the slices, gently place them in the hot oil, without overlapping them, to prevent them from sticking together. Let them cook for a few minutes, until they are golden brown on both sides.

Add a teaspoon of flour and half a teaspoon of cornstarch in half a glass of white wine, mixing well until the mixture is homogeneous. This will allow you to thicken the sauce without having to add other ingredients that could alter the flavor of the preparation.

When the slices are ready, remove them from the pan and place them on a warm plate. Then add the ingredients for the sauce to the same pan, i.e. a little more extra virgin olive oil, the chopped mushrooms and garlic, salt and pepper and fry everything for a few minutes.

Then add the slices to the pan and toss them with the sauce, stirring gently for about 2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and reached the desired consistency.

Finally, serve the hot slices accompanied by a good pleasant red wine such as a Barbera from Piedmont or a Sangiovese from Romagna and enjoy this delicious homemade recipe.

Enjoy your meal!
