Ingredients for 4 people:
  • 4 slices of beef or pork
  • Flour
  • a white onion
  • 2 carrots
  • half a glass of dry Marsala DOC
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • curry
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation:

Start the preparation of this inviting dish by flouring the slices of meat in the flour.

Brown them on both sides in a pan with extra virgin olive oil and cook them over high heat for a few minutes. So remove them from the pan and keep them warm in a covered dish.

In the meantime, cut the carrots and onion into thin strips, to release the flavored taste of the vegetables to your dish. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil to the same pan used for the slices and cook the carrots, adjusting the salt, curry and pepper. Let it cook until the carrots are soft and tasty. so as not to harden the carrots blended with the Marsala.

Add the rest of the vegetables and finish cooking by pouring half a glass of dry Marsala DOC. Combine the previously cooked slices of meat and delicately flavor with the tasty sauce. Cover the pan and let the flavors penetrate the meat by simmering for a few minutes.

Leave the slices to rest for a few more minutes with the heat off to allow the flavors to blend together. Serve the warm dish on the table, pairing it with a fresh, refined dry white wine such as a Sauvignon Veneto or a Muller Thurgau Sud Tyrolese.

Enjoy your meal!
