Ingredients for 4 people:
  • A cabbage of 500 gr
  • an onion
  • vinegar
  • White wine
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation:

Here is the recipe to prepare a tasty rice dish with quinoa and cabbage. To start, take a cabbage and wash it thoroughly under running water. Slice it thinly and keep it aside. Take a frying pan and pour a little oil into it, then fry a previously diced onion. Add the cabbage and fry it with the onion for a couple of minutes, then sprinkle everything with a little white wine and vinegar. Season with salt, cover the pan with the lid and cook over low heat until the cabbage softens.

Meanwhile, take a container and boil about 100 grams of rice and quinoa together. Once cooked, drain them and keep them aside. When the cabbage is ready, add the rice and quinoa to the pan and mix everything well.

To enhance the flavors of the vegetables, I suggest you accompany this dish with a fresh and fragrant white wine. An excellent choice could be a Nuragus from Cagliari, a wine with a floral citrus fragrance in May, or a Chardonnay from the Veneto region, with an aromatic bouquet of peaches and plums.

Serve the rice with quinoa and savoy cabbage still hot and enjoy this delicious and healthy dish.
