Preparation:

If you want to whip up a delicious and easy dinner, then Egg Fettuccine or Spaghetti Alfredo are the way to go! This classic dish is tasty, aromatic, creamy. It’s perfect for a midweek dinner or an evening with friends. There are tons of fettuccine or spaghetti alfredo recipes out there, but with this simple and delicious recipe, you can whip up a meal that everyone will love.

Prepare the sauce in a large pan where you will sauté the pasta. Pour a little extra virgin olive oil, the butter, half a glass of milk, the Parmesan cheese, a pinch of pepper, the salt and a small pinch of nutmeg. Bring to a boil and stir constantly to form a thick sauce. Separately, prepare half a glass of milk with the cornstarch and mix until it dissolves. Finally add it to the sauce, bring to the boil and thicken.

Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine or spaghetti until al dente, also according to package directions. Drain the spaghetti and transfer them to the pan with the previously prepared sauce. Saute everything together for a few minutes so that the spaghetti marries with the cheese sauce.

For an impeccable presentation, serve the fettuccine or spaghetti hot, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

For a perfect combination of flavors and not to overpower the intense but delicate flavor of Alfredo pasta, we combine a fresh and cheerful white wine such as a fragrant Vermentino della Gallura or a Frascati Superiore del Lazio.

Enjoy your meal!
