  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 25 g. by pesto
  • 500 g. of canned tuna
  • half mozzarella
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation:

To prepare the delicious Corsara pizza, you can choose to prepare the leavened dough at home or buy it ready in the bakery or supermarket. If you opt for home preparation, you can follow a special recipe to make it from scratch. A link attachment can be an excellent reference for following the procedure step by step and obtain a perfect leavened dough for your pizza.

However, if you want to save time or prefer to use ready-made pasta, you can buy it at a bakery or supermarket. Many bakeries and supermarkets offer fresh or frozen leavened dough, ready to be used for making pizza. This option is convenient and quick, ideal for those who are short on time or for those who are new to making yeast dough.

Proceed with these simple instructions: roll out the dough on a sheet of floured baking paper and put it on a baking tray, making sure to distribute it evenly to obtain a thin and crunchy base.

Prepare a delicious sauce of extra virgin olive oil, tuna in oil with an intense flavour, fresh homemade pesto and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavours. Mix the ingredients well until you get a homogeneous and tasty consistency.

Finely chop the mozzarella, choosing an excellent quality one to guarantee an irresistible stringiness.

Spread the peeled or peeled tomatoes, deseeded and chopped very finely over the leavened dough to spread their sweet and juicy flavor in every bite. The fresh tomato is undoubtedly superior to the peeled tomato and ready-to-use tomato puree, giving a note of freshness and authenticity to the pizza.

Carefully spread the previously prepared sauce over the pizza base, covering it evenly to ensure a balanced flavor in every corner.

Put the pizza in the preheated oven at 220 degrees and let it cook for 16 minutes, until the base is golden and crunchy.

Halfway through cooking, add the chopped mozzarella on the surface of the pizza, so that it melts and strings during cooking, giving the dish a delicious creaminess.

Continue cooking for another 5 minutes, until the mozzarella is completely melted and golden.

Your delicious Corsara pizza is ready, with its crunchy base, tasty sauce, fresh tomatoes and stringy mozzarella. Serve it hot to fully appreciate its flavors and cut it into small pieces to enjoy it as an appetizer, ideal for sharing with friends and family.

To complete the meal perfectly, we recommend pairing your pizza with a fresh and fragrant white wine, such as a Vermentino from Sardinia or a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Veneto, which with their notes of berries and almond marry harmoniously with the aromas of pesto, offering a pleasant symphony of tastes to your palate.

Enjoy your meal!
