Ingredients for 4 people:
  • pack of 12 sheets of fresh lasagna
  • ragù
  • bechamel
  • a mozzarella
  • 100 g. of Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

Baked lasagna is a classic of Italian cuisine, appreciated all over the world for its goodness and versatility. This dish involves the use of sheets of egg pasta, alternating with layers of meat sauce, béchamel and cheese, for a creamy and tasty result. In this recipe I will guide you step by step in the preparation of baked lasagna, for a perfect result to be enjoyed with family or friends.

Start by preparing the bechamel and the ragù following the recipes in the links. Continue by taking a lasagna pan of suitable size, usually 35×27 cm, and spread a layer of ragù on the bottom. Add the béchamel and mix well with the ragù. Subsequently, arrange the first layer of lasagna and cover with the ragout mixed with the béchamel. Then add the slices of mozzarella and sprinkle with the Parmesan. Continue like this, alternating layers of lasagna, meat sauce, béchamel and cheese, until all the ingredients are used up.

Once you have completed all the layers, place the lasagnera in the preheated static oven at 220 degrees for about 20 minutes, until the top is crispy and golden. When the lasagna is cooked, take it out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes so that it settles down.

To make this meal even more special, we recommend pairing the baked lasagna with an intensely flavored red wine. A Vino Nobile di Montepulciano or a Carignano del Sulcis are excellent combinations, able to enhance the pungent flavors of this specialty. Both have a persistent taste, with hints of flowers and red fruits, which go perfectly with the intense flavors of the lasagna. You just have to taste this Italian dish so famous in the world for its universally recognized delicacy.

Enjoy your meal!
