  • 200 g. of cooking cream
  • the juice of half a lemon
  • a shot of whiskey

Pennette with smoked salmon are an easy to prepare and delicious dish, perfect for a quick dinner or a family lunch. The creaminess of the salmon goes perfectly with the cream and makes the dish very tempting. In this recipe I will explain to you step by step how to prepare smoked salmon penne in order to obtain a perfect result.

To prepare this pasta dish with salmon, start by taking a pack of smoked salmon and cut it into cubes. In a large frying pan, heat three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and add the salmon cubes. Cook over medium-high heat until the salmon is golden brown and crispy.

Subsequently, add the juice of a fresh lemon and blend with a small glass of whiskey, leaving it to cook for about 3 minutes on a low flame to allow the alcohol to evaporate.

Then pour the cream into the pan and mix well, leaving it to cook for another minute. After that, turn off the heat and adjust the seasoning with a pinch of salt, but don’t overdo it because the salmon is already tasty enough.

Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to the boil and cook the pennette al dente following the instructions on the package. Drain the pasta and transfer it to the pan with the salmon sauce. Mix well to mix all the ingredients and let the pasta flavor.
