Pizza recipe with wurstel and mozzarella
Ingredients for 1 person:
- 100 g. by pasta leavened
- 2 ripe gravy tomatoes or peeled tomatoes or tomato puree
- half mozzarella
- 1 frankfurter
- extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:
Pizza with frankfurters and mozzarella is a tasty and fun dish to prepare. You can prepare the leavened dough by following the instructions in the link or, if you prefer, buy the ready-made one at a bakery or supermarket.
Before starting to prepare the ingredients, it is important to roll out the dough on a sheet of floured baking paper and place it on a baking sheet. In this way, the pizza will be uniform and will prevent it from sticking to the pan during cooking. Let the dough rest for a few minutes, so as to allow it to rise a little more and become softer on the palate.
Once the dough has been rolled out, it’s time to distribute the tomatoes. If you have fresh tomato available, you can peel it and chop it finely, in order to guarantee its fragrance. Otherwise, you can use peeled tomatoes or ready-made puree. Add the sausage slices, oregano, salt and pepper.
As for the mozzarella, chop it finely and keep it aside for cooking. Once in the oven, cook the pizza at 220 degrees for 16 minutes and then add the chopped mozzarella. Put it back in the oven and let it cook for another 5 minutes, until the mozzarella becomes stringy.
For a touch of freshness, you can add basil or rocket leaves after cooking. Once the pizza is ready, cut it into slices and serve it hot, perhaps accompanied by a cold beer or a glass of red wine.
