  • 2 small glasses of egg Marsala
  • unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation:

Tiramisu, a world famous Italian dessert, is loved for its delicious combination of ingredients such as mascarpone, eggs, marsala, ladyfingers and coffee. If you want to prepare this dessert for your dinners and surprise your guests with its exceptional taste, carefully follow these precious tips.

First, prepare two glasses of coffee along with the mocha, sweetening them very lightly and letting them cool. In a bowl.

Whip the egg yolks with 50 gr. of sugar, until you get a frothy and light mixture.

In another bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff with another 50 gr. of sugar, until you get a firm and compact consistency.

Next, mix the mascarpone with a shot of marsala and gradually add the processed yolks. Mix everything well until you get a smooth cream. Then add the whipped egg whites, stirring gently to avoid disassembling them and obtaining a soft and light cream.

Now, dip the ladyfingers in cold coffee and arrange them in a large rectangular serving dish. Spread a uniform layer of cream over the ladyfingers, then repeat the operation until all the ingredients are used up. Finally, spread the last layer with all the remaining cream and dust with the bitter cocoa.

To complete your tiramisu perfectly, don’t forget to accompany it with a fresh and fragrant white wine such as a Vernaccia di Oristano or a sweet Passito di Pantelleria. Thanks to their almond and citrus notes, these wines go perfectly with sweets, creating a symphony of flavors that will leave your guests speechless.

Serve the tiramisu cold and enjoy the compliments of your guests!
