Pizza recipe with ham and asparagus
Ingredients for 1 person:
- 100 g. by leavened dough
- 100 g. of sliced raw ham
- 60 g. of asparagus
- 100 g. thinly sliced fontina
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Preparation:
To prepare a delicious pizza, you have two options: you can prepare the leavened dough in home by following the recipe in the link attachment, or buy it ready at a bakery or supermarket . If you opt for the homemade version, you can follow the recipe in the attached link to make it from scratch.
For the dressing, we recommend starting by lightly cooking the asparagus in a pan with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, to obtain an irresistible aroma. If you don’t have fresh asparagus, you can also use frozen ones that are easily available on the market. You can indulge yourself with spices, perhaps adding a pinch of chilli for a touch of spiciness.
Once you have the leavened dough ready, roll it out on a sheet of floured baking paper and place it on a baking sheet. On top of the leavened dough, place two slices of ham, two slices of fontina cheese and the asparagus tips, distributing them evenly over the pizza. Add a splash of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper to enhance the flavours.
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven at 220 degrees and cook for 16 minutes, the perfect time for the pizza to reach the right browning.
After these minutes, add the slices of fontina to the pizza and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, until the fontina has melted and wraps the pizza in a delicious stringy veil.
