Spaghetti recipe with fresh tomato sauce

  • Spaghetti 400 g
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Half onion
  • 400 g. of fresh tomatoes
  • A clove of garlic
  • Parmesan cheese 50 g
  • tender leaves of fresh basil if you are in season

Preparation:

To start, take some fresh tomatoes and cut them into small pieces. This first step is important for preparing the sauce that will give flavor to your pasta.

Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large pan and then add the finely chopped onion and garlic. Be careful not to let them burn.

When the onion and garlic have turned lightly golden, add the already well-chopped tomatoes and the salt. Mix well and leave to simmer for about 10 minutes.
